I'm pretty happy to hear this: At last night's GMA Music Awards, "New Artist of the Year" went to The Afters. The band's debut album, I Wish We All Could Win (INO/Columbia), is good stuff. In fact, it was on my "Top 10 Albums of 2005" list for CCM.

I concur about The Afters. The album is very good. Their song, Beautiful Love is getting a lot of airplay out here (SoCal). But Until the World is, right now, my favorite on the disk.
