IMWF 2010 accepting submissions

The International Mystery Writers' Festival is now accepting submissions, including stage plays, screenplays, teleplays, and short stories in the mystery, thriller, suspense, and adventure genres. Finalists will be presented in live productions during the 2010 festival. Click here for submission details.

The IMWF "Angie Awards" (named for Oscar, Tony & Emmy Award winning star ANGELA LANSBURY) will be presented in the following categories:

BEST NEW WORK, plus a $10,000 prize
MOST PROMISING NEW WRITER, plus a $5,000 prize
OUTSTANDING SCREENPLAY or TELEPLAY, plus a $2,500.00 prize
BEST WORK FOR YOUNG ADULTS (ages 12-18), plus $1,000
BEST SHORT MYSTERY PLAY (1-Act plays, short screenplay, short story), plus $1,000

There is no entry fee. Deadline for submissions is August 30, 2009. The next International Mystery Writers' Festival will be held June 17-27, 2010, in Owensboro, Kentucky. Click here for details.
