The Monster In The Box, the latest in mystery writer Ruth Rendell's popular Inspector Wexford series, takes the detective back to his days as a young policeman, and to the man he has long suspected of murder -- serial murder. In this short video, Rendell explains the origins of the inspector, why she decided to change him for subsequent books, and the political undercurrents of her series.
