Legendary mystery writer Lawrence Block appears here in a couple of interview clips. First up, on his 70th birthday Block appeared on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson to discuss the Keller thriller Hit And Run and the joys of stamp collecting. In the second video, Block talks with Hard Case Crime's Charles Ardai during Bouchercon 2008.An award-winning crime writer known for his prolific output, Block's series characters include (among others) burglar Bernie Rhodenbarr, private investigator Matthew Scudder, and hit man Keller. Block was named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America in 1993. He recently started a column for Mystery Scene magazine.
