Plus, we love comics and so do a lot of other people. When Dark Horse Comics offered us the opportunity to experience the adventure of creating a comic it was hard to say no. Not only was creating a comic a great change of pace and a lot of fun for us, but it was a real eye opener to see how many people it takes to bring a comic together. Modesty Blaise creator Peter O'Donnell passed away May 3 at the age of 90. His writing spanned comic strips and prose novels -- for almost 40 years, O'Donnell chronicled the adventures of the former thief-turned-secret agent (of sorts) and her trusty sidekick Willie Garvin in a long-running newspaper comic strip (1963-2001), 11 novels, and two short story collections.
