"Why is the next Barnaby/Hooker novel a a comic book?"

Over on her page on Facebook, Janet Evanovich explains to fans why the next installment in her Alex Barnaby series is a graphic novel with Dark Horse Comics:
Why not? Variety is the spice of life. Plus, we love comics and so do a lot of other people. When Dark Horse Comics offered us the opportunity to experience the adventure of creating a comic it was hard to say no. Not only was creating a comic a great change of pace and a lot of fun for us, but it was a real eye opener to see how many people it takes to bring a comic together. There is an amazing amount of hard work and talent that goes into making these graphic books.
Troublemaker, available July, is the follow-up to the prose novels Metro Girl and Motor Mouth.
