Here, at last, is the official world premiere of my audiobook podcast series! Okay, technically, it's not a "podcast" because you can't subscribe to it through iTunes. (Or something like that—I'm still navigating my way through all the technical stuff.)But I wanted to do this first season as my "cable access" version, just to get some experience. Hopefully, we'll be ready for wider distribution for the next audiobook.
We kick things off with part one of "Don't Fall For That Trick," a mystery story I wrote with an eye toward creating a series with husband-wife amateur sleuths Tom and Darla Booke. Stylistically, I was shooting for a kind of modern-day Nick & Nora Charles from the Thin Man, told in the style of Rex Stout's mysteries starring Nero Wolfe and right-hand man Archie Goodwin.
